I first began using food and movement in my early 20’s to change my wellness trajectory, I remember feeling lost, alone, confused, angry, and an overwhelming sense of loss for my diet of pizza and ice cream. What would I ever do without pizza?! And what exactly am I supposed to eat, if not cereal and yogurt for breakfast?
What I did know was that I was sick, inflamed, forgetful, emotionally unstable, and overweight. What I did know was that I was too young to have a diagnosis of Pre-Diabetes. What I did know was that it was FAR too early to have symptoms of a degenerative inflammatory disease.
I was blessed to have someone to guide me through learning what and how to feed my body, and someone to teach me how to recognize how food and movement affected how I felt. I’ve been there. I see you—and you’re not alone.
